Website must-haves for restaurants and cafes

If your restaurant site doesn't do these four things, you're losing hungry customers on their phones.

A restaurant site has one job: turn a hungry stranger into a reservation, a to-go order, or a walk-in. Here's what that requires.

1. The menu, up front and readable on a phone

Not a PDF. Not a link to a third-party menu that opens in a new tab. Real, styled HTML that loads instantly.

2. Hours and location above the fold

"Are they open?" and "How do I get there?" are the top two questions.

3. Photos of the actual food

Not stock. Not the vendor photos of your suppliers. Your food, taken well.

4. One-tap actions

Call. Get directions. Order online. Book a table. Tap, tap, tap. See what we do for restaurants.
